2026-05-09Features
Provides electrical insulation between circuit boards and mechanical structures, preventing short circuits caused by direct contact between multi-layer PCBs through physical support. Featuring specialised designs such as aircraft-style heads and hexagonal threads, it offers stable support within a spacing range of 5–22 mm, providing a space-optimised solution for the internal layout of electronic equipment.
The product features a double-sided clamping mechanism and supports threaded fastening for hole-less PCB installation scenarios. Transparent variants allow for visual inspection of internal mechanical operations during equipment maintenance. Patent technology disclosed in 2024 incorporates reflective warning strips and thickness adjustment components, enabling adaptation to different board thickness requirements and enhancing safety during night-time operations.
Product Structure
Classified into five major categories based on substrate compatibility:
Double-ended standoffs: Utilise a dual-hole design, achieving double-sided clamping via upper and lower lugs
Round-base standoffs: The larger hole end secures the substrate, whilst the smaller hole end connects to the PCB, employing a fixed structure based on hole diameter differences
Flat-base standoffs: The hexagonal head structure is suitable for installation on hole-less substrates, achieving single-sided locking via threaded holes
Gecko standoffs: Featuring threaded holes and a pointed tip design, these are suitable for special installation scenarios involving metal substrates and are one of the five types of standoffs classified by fastening method
Snap-fit standoffs: A symmetrical snap-fit structure secures both the PCB and the substrate simultaneously, supporting quick installation and removal
